Camp Nou is the 3rd largest football stadium in the world and the largest stadium in Europe with a capacity of about 110000 people.

It has been the home of FC Barcelona since 1957 and is also the home of the Catalan national team.

Construction started on 28 March 1954 and took 3 years to complete, it was officially opened on the 24 September 1957.

The architects who built it were Francesc Mitjans, Josep Soteras, and Lorenzo García-Barbón.
